Splinters

Splinters of broken promises
Shards of shattered dreams
Embedded so deeply inside
Unmovable lest it pains us more
Hidden to all but those who seek
While the splinters and the shards
May never be completely removed
All is not lost while there is hope
Where there is a will, there is a way
The hurt will slowly ebb
Sorrow does not forever last
Find solace in the arms of forgiveness
Seek shelter in the arms of love
Keep your eye on the prize
Life does not for a cursed day end
Be strong and be brave
For someday, you will be whole again

Of Light and Colours in Life

Rays of undisclosed memories
Shadows of an untold past
Tints the already present
And colours the emerging future

Red for the passion that burns deep inside
Blue for love forever true
Yellow rays of sunshine for happiness
Green is the forests that sustain you

When light and colours and shadows become one
Channelled into a kaleidoscope of dreams
Closes and converges, swirls and diverges
Weaving patterns into the tapestry of our lives
As we travel past, in our journey towards the future

Fight, Spirit, Be Strong...

Make mountains out of molehills
Create chaos in a teacup
Take away what belongs to me
And crush my bones to dust...

Spirit, be strong...
Fight back you must...
And in the end be victorious

For only then, can you shine in your glory.

I made a choice..

Sometimes, the best choice is the hardest one you can make...
I made a choice, and I suffer the consequences.
The heart that feels too much, feels the most hurt.
And it is not anyone's fault, for I have merely chosen not to walk away.

Had I walked away, I would not have felt such pain.
The pain of watching someone so proud
Bent over in the throes of a suffocating nightmare.
He tries to release himself, but wakefulness eludes him.
Can someone not show him the way?

There is none I can do, but watch, and pray.
It is his battle to win.

I have much to accomplish, my own journey is not yet over.
So I arise and go on, with a prayer that I will never walk alone...

there are 4 episodes all-together.

Episode -2 of Hikayat Sapurba Dongeng Nirwana Kosmik

(Katak)
Salam dihulur pembuka bicara
Terimalah jawapan dari hamba
petang semalam meeting amat lama
ni baru nak sambung cerita perang kita

_______________________________________________
Narrator's voice : at the end of the last episode, the horses entered the battlefield and joined the monkeys against the frogs...the monkeys and horses thought they were winning...but...JENG!JENG!...
(background music :intro of Asmaradana)
______________________________________________

Katak TKC katak sakti
Serikandi hijau anggun dan berani
Maka diseru kuasa kosmik dilangit tinggi
Lalu awan terpilu ke bumi
Sampai M.Nasir tak jadi nyanyi
Keluar katak dari lubuk tersembunyi
Masakan monyet suka mandi?
kuda pula tak suka dibasahi
Monyet dan kuda bertempiaran lari
Katak-katak berpandangan sama sendiri
Hai...takkan hujan sedikit sudah pergi?

Narrator's voice : In the meanwhile....(theme song Star Wars playing)....

Sementara monyet menyusun strategi
Kuda pula mengeringkan diri
Di seberang sungai teriakan berbunyi
Rupanya 7 gajah berarak ke mari...

(Kuda)
gegar gempita,kilat berdentum lagi,
katak gembira, menari-nari,
kuda dan monyet menyusun strategi,
agar katak, terseksa kelak di dinihari.

hati yang resah, hampir mengalah,
tidak menjadi, dek kalimah bijaksana,
"Fiat Sapientia Virtus", tidak terkalah,
Semangat terjulang, setiap masa

langit yang gelap, guruh bergema,
katak gembira, menyangka diri geliga,
di ufuk jauh, mentari bersinar semula,
pelangi bersinar, hujan yang turun telah pun reda

dari jauh, muncul lembaga,
berasap kemenyan, kumat-kamit kalimah sakti,
bomoh hujan diupah, oleh kawanan kuda,
monyet bersedia , menyerang kembali

orang gembira, amatlah leka,
bila musibah, tidak bersedia saat ketika,
begitulah adanya, katak yang alpa,
ketika bergembira, diseranglah akan mereka

adapun kuda, menyambut gajah yang ada,
datang pertolongan, kerabat diraja,
bersama menyerang musuh yang ada,
katak yang ada, ditewaskan dengan senang sahaja.

lompat si-katak lompat..
lompat lah tinggi-tinggi..
cepatlah aizan cepat..
cepatlah jawab hikayat kami..

Episode -1 of Hikayat Sapurba Dongeng Nirwana Kosmik

(Monyet)
Lompat si katak lompat,
Lompat lah tinggi2
Masih tak dapat2
Monyet senyum nampak gusi

(Katak)
Monyet-monyet syok sendiri
Menanti lawan tak muncul lagi
Rupanya katak menyerang dari kiri
Monyet terkejut beruk, bertaburan gigi

(Monyet)
Monyet seekor sebagai umpan
Katak ingat itulah sahaja lawan
Dari atas monyet2 menyerang bagai pahlawan
Katak2 dicekup dalam cawan
Lalu dihumban ke tengah jalan
Peribahasa mati katak memanglah padan

(Kuda)
bergempa bumi dengan sorakan,
katak dan monyet saling berlawan,
dari jauh terdengar gegaran,
kuda datang memberi bantuan.

berlari-lari kawanan kuda,
katak diserang dua sekawan,
akibat sikap tidak berwaspada,
katak tak sangka yang diserang
melawan.

It Is You I Dream Of

A flower grows from beneath a blanket
Of fine and purest white
It reaches toward the sun for warmth,
For heat and for the light

My love for you grows stronger still,
Despite the surrounding cold
My heart is yours, bartered gone
For yours has it been sold

Its petals shine from morning dew
Its stem grows stiff and strong
It stands strong through the freezing cold
It stands the winter long

I long for you, for your soft touch
I miss the way you smile
The longer that we stay apart
The longer every mile

The flower stretches through the snow
It reaches toward the sun
And now without you the color is gone
The flower's petals, dun

But as we talk, and as we learn
The flower comes back to life
The snow now melts and goes away
As you take away my strife

Spring is here and growth abounds
As you and I are one
We are together, we are in love
The snow for now is done

I see the future, in dreams I have
Of our life, long and true
I see the times where all I need
Are comforting words from you

I see the times when winter comes
As winter tends to do
But we still love, and we still live
And I do still love you

And so we live, with children ours
And a life of much to see
With love we live, to live we love
Happy together are we

I see the flower, older now,
But still strong with fresh new leaves
I see it growing, tall and strong
Reaching to the eaves

We are now old, as years have passed
But old together are we
And strong our love still today
As strong as it can be
J. R. King

Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

the road not taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
